I have this marvelous effects pedal to write about. Tech 21 Fly Rig 5 v2 Multi-effects Pedal is one of most versatile guitar pedal I’ve ever play with in gigs, if not the previous Flyrig5 tech21 pedal series. hahaha yes, I think I made myself as Tech21 products fans
I know it feels weird since this post is the version 2 while i haven’t post about the version 1 first, but bear with me, i have lots of fly rig 5 to talk about (bought the brit and cali too, don’t worry)
Tech 21 Fly Rig 5 v2 Multi-effects Pedal
first thing i notice is the knobs are bigger than the first version, surely it’s more convenientit has bright LED Knobs, easier to dial at exact amount we want to. added feature such like XLR output and cabsim mode are very useful in direct-to-PA systems situations, in compact design we got lots of thing covered.
It comes with adapter to power up all those effects in one place so yeah, basically this is a complete-compact pedalboard with much smaller size, ready to rock the gigs anytime
Tech21 FlyRig 5 v2 Multi-effects Pedal size compared to adapter
other features such like optional pre/post boost and dotted 8th delay are just phenomenal, surely useful for live performances
okay enough about the features, now we talk about how it sounds. and yes it sounds great, all the features work just fine without any defects. check my Tech 21 Fly Rig 5 v2 Multi-effects Pedal video

it’s a great pedal
and we need a BUT
but i like the earlier sansamps preamp sound. I’ve tried tech21 Fly Rig 5 Plexi, RK5, Brit and Cali version, all the preamps feel stronger than this Blonde preamp on the V2. few loyal users will notice this too i guess, but overall i can’t say much more than this pedal is great, even much better than digital in some cases.
i’ll be back soon with other fly rig 5 pedal. see ya
musicman james valentine guitar has the best body design I’ve ever seen and touch. it has classy almost-gibson look while definitely i can feel the telecaster right away after i strummed it.
Musicman james valentine is… oh, Hello 😀 well this time is past a year from my latest blogpost, and I have to admit, this coronavirus , covid-19 has brought me back to start writing again. Yeah, need a pandemonium to take me back here. okay let’s get move on.
I do really have a good stuff to talk about. yup, it’s THE Musicman guitar, the James Valentine signature series one. Pretty isn’t it?
James Valentine is Maroon 5 guitar player and one of great guitarist. He plays riff perfectly, has strong sense of guitar phrasing and articulation, great taste of music. funny thing is, some people questioning his worth to have A Musicman signature series guitar by his name. (yea it was the comments on facebook when i shared my guitar review video, says “it’s funny you have to put maroon 5 on your video title, it means he’s no worth it, and i completely disagree with that. I respect James Valentine as my guitar hero. done.. no more whining.
Let’s talk about this guitar shall we? See, this musicman james valentine guitar has the best body design I’ve ever seen and touch. it has classy almost-gibson look while definitely i can feel the telecaster right away after i strummed it.
so beautiful.
The neck.. i smell strong maple syrup came out from this roasted maple wood neck. it’s almost like i wanted to lick it (i did by the way, and it’s tasteless 😀 ) . literally it smells so sweet
I was really happy when I hold this guitar.
ah yes.. the sound. It is definitely a tele sound with upgrades. it has booster engaged by push-pull volume knob and neck split coil on tone knob. check it out on my vlog video >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL8bdLGPkk4
the headstock is gorgeous, definitely high class musicman style
so overall this is the most gorgeous guitar i ever play and yes, it was sold to guitar collector already. i missed this guitar. likely I’ll buy another one someday
